STEMI Receiving Center in Los Angeles
Adventist Health White Memorial is a STEMI (heart attack) Receiving Center (SRC). The medical center meets stringent standards set by Los Angeles County Emergency Services (EMS). At Adventist Health, we are recognized by LA County as a designated receiving center for patients with heart attacks. Emergency medical personnel will skip non-SRC hospitals and bring patients directly to Adventist Health White Memorial emergency room for treatment.
Patients with heart attack symptoms such as chest pain or shortness of breath will receive immediate attention in the ER.
Our cardiology call team and catheterization lab is called and responds to treat patients to meet the guidelines of the American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology.
