What is an ACO?

Adventist Health Accountable Care’s Accountable Care Organization (ACO) gives you access to health care from great providers and hospitals in California. Together our goal is to provide you with an excellent patient experience and high-quality care that is more coordinated and less complex.

To achieve this, Adventist Health Accountable Care shares pertinent information about your health and your care, to those who work directly with us to help you stay healthy. We are committed to providing you with exceptional care and an outstanding experience at no additional cost.

You can also voluntarily align yourself with one of our ACO providers. The benefits of joining Adventist Health’s Medicare ACO include additional services such as care management and social services. If a patient participates in our ACO, it does not restrict their access to care or impact their Medicare coverage in any way.

When you let Medicare know you have a primary clinician in an ACO, that provider will have access to tools and information that will help them better coordinate your care and support your overall well-being.
