Adventist Health Specialty Bakersfield earned an “A” Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade in Fall 2021. The national distinction recognizes that care teams provide the safest quality care to protect patients from harm.

Accredited Chest Pain Center

Adventist Health Specialty Bakersfield has been an accredited Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care and American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center since 2008. The accreditation honors facilities demonstrating a commitment to world class cardiovascular care.

Blue Distinction Center+

Named a Blue Distinction Center+ by Blue Cross Blue Shield of California for knee and hip replacements, this national designation is reserved for facilities demonstrating expertise and efficiency that results in safer care and better patient outcomes.

Accredited Heart Failure Treatment

Adventist Health Specialty Bakersfield was the first hospital in Kern County to earn recognition from the American College of Cardiology for expertise and commitment to treating patients with heart failure.
