Specialty Bakersfield

Visitor Information

At Adventist Health Specialty Bakersfield, we know how important it is for you to have family and loved ones nearby to help you during your hospital stay. We consider you and your family essential members of the care team, and accordingly, maintain open visiting hours so loved ones, including children, can support you anytime.

Visitation Guidelines

For safety purposes, we require all visitors to check in with our concierge to receive a visitor badge. This badge must remain visible at all times.

We also ask that visitors help us keep their loved ones safe from infection by practicing excellent hand hygiene. This includes washing hands often and using antibacterial gel when entering and exiting patient rooms.

Although we maintain open visiting hours, there may be situations in the best interest of our patients where clinical teams limit the number of visitors and time of visits. This may be, for example, during a bedside procedure, when a patient needs privacy, upon physician request, or anytime there’s a situation that could create an unsafe environment for patients or staff.

We ask that our visitors respect these requests so their loved ones can have the best experience possible.
