Phases of Cardiac Rehabilitation

Cardiac rehabilitation occurs in multiple phases. It often involves monitored exercise, nutritional counseling, emotional support and education for you and your family about your condition, risk factors and helpful lifestyle changes. Cardiac rehabilitation programs significantly increase chances of survival after experiencing heart failure and are recommended by the American Heart Association and American College of Cardiology.
