Yuba County Board of Supervisors Approves $192K Nursing Scholarship Program In Partnership with Rideout Foundation Yuba County

Yuba County Board of Supervisors has approved a groundbreaking $192,000 agreement between the Yuba County Department of Health and Human Services and the Rideout Foundation of Adventist Health and Rideout to launch a scholarship program in support of Yuba County residents attending the nursing program at Yuba College.

This milestone collaboration came to fruition from a shared goal of fostering the growth of the nursing workforce in our region.

Adventist Health and Rideout Electrophysiology Program Surpasses 500th Heart Ablation Procedure

Adventist Health and Rideout is proud to announce that its electrophysiology program, led by Dr. R.P. Singh, has successfully completed over 500 heart ablations, addressing more than 600 heart arrhythmias in the process. Notably, the program’s complication rate stands at a remarkable 0.4%, significantly below the national average of 4.5% for ablation procedures.

Currently, the program’s catheterization (cath) laboratory is the only facility in the greater Sacramento region offering completely fluoroscopy free procedures and is one of the few accredited by the American College of Cardiology (ACC) in the state.

Adventist Health and Rideout Shines at Yuba City Downtown Summer Stroll

On Saturday, June 15, Adventist Health and Rideout (AHRO) participated in the annual Yuba City Downtown Summer Stroll. This popular event drew approximately 5,000 people who came to enjoy live music, explore various vendors, and indulge in food truck delights. AHRO not only hosted a booth, but also served as the first aid station for the event.

Celebrating 50 Years of Pathways: A Day of Community, Health, and Fun

On Saturday, June 8, Pathways marked an incredible milestone 50 years of dedicated service to our community, focusing on prevention, intervention, and recovery. The event was a vibrant gathering featuring over 20 vendors, each contributing to the festive atmosphere with engaging activities and valuable information.

Adventist Health and Rideout (AHRO) was a proud participant, with 25 associates volunteering their time and energy to manage the AHRO booth. These dedicated volunteers provided crucial prevention and health education information to nearly 100 attendees, ensuring the community had access to essential health resources.
