In Adventist Health Simi Valley’s gastroenterology laboratory — better known as the GI lab — physician specialists utilize a variety of tools and procedures to examine and treat segments of the continuous passageway through the body that is responsible for processing the food we eat and eliminating solid waste.
The lab offers a wide range of services, including but not limited to:
- Colonoscopy
- Flexible sigmoidoscopy
- Upper endoscopy
- ERCP (examination of bile ducts, gallbladder and related structures)
- Feeding tube placement
