Nancy Reagan Breast Center
The Nancy Reagan Breast Center at the Outpatient Center was one of the first facilities in Ventura County designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR). We are able to offer digital and 3D mammography, along with the care and service of our expert clinicians. This center holds accreditation in mammography, as well as stereotactic breast biopsy and breast ultrasound. Accreditation for the latter two is voluntary and represents extra effort and meticulous management of those services.
Adventist Health also offers nurse navigators who guide you through every step of your breast cancer treatment, including the transition to life after treatment
3D Mammography
Three-dimensional mammography adds depth to traditional flat images, which can help physicians to better see physical structures under the skin. By offering 3D mammography, Adventist Health is able to provide better detection, a clearer view of tissue, and fewer false positive results.
