Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program

Offered in partnership with California Preparatory College, the CNA Training Program consists of online coursework and in-person clinical training at Adventist Health Sonora skilled nursing units over the course of about 12 weeks, plus two weeks of certification exam preparation. Classes are held on evenings and Sundays to accommodate working students, and scholarships are available to qualified applicants.

Medical Assistant (MA) Program

Offered in partnership with COPE Health Solutions, the seven-month MA Training Program consists of virtual self-study coursework and lectures as well as in-person training in Adventist Health Sonora medical offices. The program offers flexible scheduling, including evening and weekend programming, as well as scholarships for well-qualified applicants.

Associate of Science in Nursing Program

Pacific Union College offers an Associate of Science in Nursing Program with priority admission and tuition assistance for current Adventist Health Sonora employees to make overall cost less than a fully on-campus program. Approved by the Board of Registered Nursing, the program is offered in a hybrid format with online coursework and clinical rotations onsite at Adventist Health Sonora.
